Linda Matalon

  • An alphabet...
\"My work is in direct contrast to the nearly ubiquitous experience of speed in everything, even art.  The experience of my work is what is revealed over time, marks that emerge after the first glance, or that are made to change. Over time, an alphabet is revealed. I ask the viewer to look longer, to see what emerges over time. My focus is to continue to push the boundary of where a work can go emotionally while in an abstract, minimalist lexicon.\" - Linda Matalon
